RGV may come out as a misanthrope but his philosophy is totally life affirming.

"That’s because the majority can only see things by association and not by and for themselves"

If you take the classic case of ramayana, every one assumes rama is god and what ever he do is right. right? When you read ramayana with  objective eyes ( 100% objectivity is ofcourse..impossible), you would notice that lord rama has no qualities which needs to be followed. He is a character who was jailed by the rules and regulations and spent all his life guarding them.He ordered surpanaka to be mutilated. sweet! Then he killed vali as coward. Then he took help of sugriva and vibhishana assholes, to beat ravana. Rama is one tortured soul..and as a character it works. Ravana comes out as a better person than Rama. But, ravana is the villian according to the audience, just by associating to Rama and having pre-hand information that he is god. Just like, watching a movie after knowing that it is a big hit. Most of audience love a hit movie and there by making it super hit, and what ever in that movie must be good.

 "I live to dream"

Speilberg also live to dream. Context,my friends, Context!

"I drink because I philosophize and don’t philosophize when I am drunk"

I love this sentence. But, there is also a chance that you are hiding that child in drinks.
Breakup that ego wall, it will make u suicidal though, for a while.

"Arisha, the day you stop thinking for me and think for yourself there’s a higher chance of you getting to know me"

Arisha has a point but it doesn't make any difference. Howard Roark is howard roark because he must have been hurt at some point.

This also mean that if you give too much respect for a person, then its very difficult to know that person. Christians give too much importance to Bible, and because of that they fail to understand the essence of the bible.

It also mean that if you are not happy, you cannot provide happiness to others.
Selfishness at "consciousness" level leads to love for humanity. (love for humanity..lol)
Understanding ourselves helps in understand others.

"Flee into your solitude!"
That is the whole point of my novel.

BTW, I created a new software tool..and the details are here..http://vamseekamana.blogspot.com/2010/02/third-eye-software-product.html

I am not sure if 'respect' is a justified attribute to give in the context that you are speaking about. I think it is more about being in 'awe' of something or being 'blinded' by something that you fail to understand the true meaning.

I know what u sayin. But, lets go further and ask, " what is respect?"
I am all for mutual "whatever"?

I am all for mutual "whatever"? --what does this mean?

People tend to mix respect with other seemingly similar emotions. Can you define respect for me?

(this is only for the sake of an argument)

I believe respect has its origin in 'power', and to maintain order, which starts from the family to the tribe elder. Its like cartman saying, "respect my authoritah"..it was just about authority.

whatever : love,respect,like..

I like like..that is totally different..there is no acting in like..respect needs some acting..and I just hate psychopants..
