How dare they?

She celebrated her 2nd year in this world. On that night,
She woke up with mirchi in her eyes.Her tears tried to stop the burning.
Her lungs tried to stop breathing.She was suffocating. It was confusing.
Just imagine.

And then, she died. Died a horrible death. Blood replaced her tears.

She was the 'unknown child'. Unknown, most probably because her parents died unknown. They must have died in the same way she died. Or, they must have buried her dead body and then died a couple of days later. 'Unknown child' was unknown for a reason.

What if she is alive? She is the beautiful woman you see on the street, and fall in love. She is the doctor.She is the actress.She is the scientist. She is the proud mother of two, a girl and a boy. She is the one who is 'celebrating for being alive'. Most importantly; she is my contemporary, my colleague, my age group.

No. She is not the one. She died long back. 1984 december 3rd 12 am, to be exact.

'They' used these sentiments to attack the people and causes responsible for her death. How dare they?

How dare they fight against the corporation? How dare they question the capitalism? Whats best for a company is best for the people, right? It is all trickle down economics,right? The welfare of the poor is linked to the welfare of the rich, right?

How dare they question a rich citizen of  a world power? How dare they question Warren Anderson? How dare they disturb his costly golfs and ace in the holes? Dont they know that a single life of an american is equivalent to 100's of lives in third world countries. What are they smoking? How can a curry and sweat smelling punjabi dress and saree is equivalent to a perfumed victoria secret. I question you. For god sake, watch them carefully. Which one do you want to save? For whom, would your heart bleed and cry for? We all cried for the princess of england. How many of us cried for bhopal? Come on man, which one looks dramatic? Blood on white skin or blood on dark skin? Blood on a rich skin or blood on a poor skin?

The deaths of 20,000 are peanuts. 200,000 children were exposed to the gases. That was like 200 american children. What would america do if it happend in america?
